Welcome to the web page of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Washington, D.C.

One of the most important duties of our Embassy is to provide information and assistance to everybody originating from Macedonia that currently resides in the United States, as well as to United States’ citizens who are interested in learning about, or traveling to our beautiful country. We hope that this web site will contribute towards the accomplishment of this goal and that you will be able to find the information you are looking for.

Of course, the primary goal of our work at the Embassy is to enhance the relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the United States and to strengthen Macedonia’s role as a steadfast friend and partner to the United States.

We are also engaged in enhancing the trade between our countries, by helping Macedonian companies gain access to United States’ market and promoting their competitiveness.

We closely co-operate with all organizations of our diaspora in the United States, which are tirelessly engaged in deepening, widening and strengthening political, economic and cultural ties between the Republic of Macedonia and the United States, and we do our best to help them preserve and keep in touch with their cultural heritage.
