Entry visas

USA citizens traveling to the Republic of Macedonia with diplomatic, official and regular passport are not required entry visa for a stay in the country up to 90 days.

For holders of an USA refugee travel document or USA travel document for foreigners’ entry visa to the Republic of Macedonia is required.

Citizens from countries other than USA can also apply for an entry-exit visa or transit visa if they need to (see the Visa Regime).

Business Visa

Authorized institution for issuance of business visas for business activities in the Republic of Macedonia is the Department for Foreign Citizens at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, business visa Applicant first has to apply for an entry visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia or at the Consulate General of the Republic of Macedonia in Detroit.

Business visa lasts 30 days in which period the Applicant has to visit and apply for the visa at the Department for Foreign Citizens at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Macedonia.

Send the Visa Application Form and the copy of your passport’s first page to the Embassy’s or Consulate General’s fax number

If you are residing on the US East Coast use the Embassy’s fax number: 1 202 667 2131

If you are residing on the US Mid-west and West Coast, use the Consulate General’s fax number: 1 248 354 5538

If you are applying for a business visa, please send Visa Application Form, copy of your passport's first page and a letter – proof of your business activities in Macedonia.

  -It takes 7-10 days for the completion of the entry visa approval procedure.

  -Once your entry visa application is approved a Consular officer from the Embasy or the Consulate General will contact you.

  -If your entry visa has been approved you will be asked to send in a return envelope the following documents:

     1.Your passport
     2.One photo
     3.Money order of a cost that the Consular officer will tell you
